Windcrop Ltd is a rapidly growing renewable energy company which provides a simple and easy way for Farmers and Landowners to enjoy free electricity with no capital outlay or ongoing costs.

Due to the demand for Windcrop’s small wind turbines, we are currently have the following positions available:

Telesales Executives

Objectives of Role

  • Make fully pre-qualified appointments for Windcrop’s Site Assessors with the Farming and Landowning Community
  • Plan appointments in an efficient manner to minimise journey times for the Site Assessor
  • Achieve targets including number of calls, appointments and sales
  • Develop a pipeline of new business opportunities
  • Generate new leads through cold calling, direct marketing and from other communication channels and events
  • Keep Windcrop’s CRM system fully up to date
  • Promote the company with integrity and honesty

The Person

  • An experienced Telesales Executive who ideally will be used to selling into the Farming and Landowning Community
  • Must have a good telephone manner
  • Needs solid Microsoft skills and experience of updating CRM systems (preferably salesforce.com)
  • An outgoing relationship builder who can easily network and rapidly gain the trust of new contacts
  • Self starting, willing to cold call and be proactive in network building
  • Results orientated, able to make commitments and work under pressure in a target driven environment
  • Personal integrity and honesty and a warm, genuine persona are essential attributes for this role
  • Clean driving licence

This role is predominantly office based, but the candidate will be expected to attend events or other activities requiring overnight travel and potentially extended hours.   Some shift work may be required in the mornings, evenings and weekends depending on when clients are most available for contact.

Site Assessors

Objectives of Role

  • Deliver signed contracts in-line with Company targets and achieve the Company conversion ratio of customer meetings into qualified sales contracts
  • Proactively identify new leads and potential clients through client referrals and other sales generation activity
  • Conduct site assessments to ensure sites are appropriate for the Windcrop solution
  • Provide accurate and complete information to the customer and the Planning team to allow them to conclude a successful planning application. Give the Installation Team all the information needed to plan and execute a successful install
  • Support Windcrop’s customers throughout the above process
  • Accurately document and report the potential and timings of all new business opportunities and provide forecasts and management information as required
  • Keep Windcrop’s CRM system fully up to date
  • Promote the company with integrity and honesty and build the public profile of Windcrop

The Person

  • A results oriented, experienced and successful Sales Executive who is looking to join an innovative, fast paced company – experience of sales to the Farming and Landowning Community is desirable
  • Good level of education with excellent communication and presentation skills (written and verbal)
  • A presentable, outgoing relationship builder who can easily network and rapidly gain the trust of the Farming and Landowning Community
  • A self starter, willing to cold call and be proactive in network building
  • Personal integrity and honesty and a warm, genuine persona are essential attributes for this role
  • There will be frequent travel in the UK so a clean driving licence is required
