Smallholders
Many smallholders have discovered that wind power is the ideal renewable energy solution – installing a small wind turbine can dramatically reduce energy bills and carbon emissions.
Smallholders across the country are seeing the benefits of having renewable energy on their land and for those smallholders selling their own produce, many have become carbon neutral by having renewable energy sources.
“The turbine has been incredibly successful and we expect to not only substantially reduce our electricity bill, but reduce our CO2 emissions significantly.”
We have found that not only are our systems completely ignored by the livestock who share the fields, but both the RSPB and Wildlife Trusts support micro generation wind systems as an important contribution to reducing carbon emissions.
